Sound Mind in a Sound Body
The Greeks understood the importance of a "Sound Mind in a Sound Body". In fact it became the foundation of their civilisation. Modern day studies continue to support the idea that exercise of any kind, can have multiple benefits beyond physical fitness. We now know that exercise can profoundly impact a person's mental health such a relieving stress and anxiety, as well as symptoms of depression.
We know when the body feels good so does the mind. This extends not only to exercise like Yoga and Tai-Chi but also time spent having massages, acupuncture or relaxing the body in a natural hot spring. Regardless of age or ability we encourage our clients to take part in our fitness and wellbeing classes and activities. You can choose to be a part of as many or as little as you like.

The history of human evolution shows a definitive link between our physical health and psychological well-being.
